So you want to join the South Central AK Beard & Moustache Club. What are you waiting for an invitation? We are a loose gathering of bearded or moustached men, their families, and friends. Membership is open to anyone who sports a tad of facial hair. It is free and there are no dues or other costs involved. In order to become a member of the Board, you must have competed in the Mr. Fur Face competition. We meet several times a year, with the main gathering at the annual Miners and Trappers Ball in mid winter. Our club is helping to bring the 9th annual World Beard and Moustache Championships to Anchorage, AK on May 23, 2009. Club members will be able to fully enjoy either competing or helping to bring this grand international event to our town.
