The World Beard and Moustache Championship organizing committee is actively searching for sponsors for this unique event. Local media exposure promises to be very good as ACVB will be using their PR department and contacts to publicize the event with print, radio, and possibly television advertising. There will also be national and international media coverage of this event as there has been for previous Championships. The official program for the contest will be printed as a 28 page special event supplement in Coast Magazine at the start of May. Coast Magazine has local distribution to over 400 Anchorage business locations as well as Statewide distribution to all of Alaska's other major cities. |

This list includes many of the opportunities available, but it is by no means all inclusive. There are multiple events during the 5 days that the competitors will be in town so if you feel that the options do not fit your needs, we will be glad to work with you to maximize the exposure for your company. All sponsorship opportunities will come with a benefit package and we are willing to negotiate on the basic sponsorship fees as well as the benefit package. Sponsorship of the 9th WBMC will be great exposure and publicity for your company but even better is that all sponsorship money is tax deductible as the net proceeds of the Championships will be given to the Lions Club Charities. The specific charities that will benefit from the proceeds will be the Alaska Center for the Blind, Camp-Abilities, and the NorthWest Eye Foundation. The Lions Club operates under the 49A Foundation Fund which is registered as a 501(c)(3) fund. We look forward to working with you as we bring this exciting world class event to Anchorage next May.
