To download the registration application please visit the ACVB Media Page at: http://www.anchorage.net/2341.cfm. Please send completed form and applicable registration fees to: ACVB - attn: Fiona - 524 W. Fourth Ave. - Anchorage, AK 99501-2212. If no fee is required, you may fax the completed form to: 907-222-3752 or email it to: pr@anchorage.net. Checks should be made out to -- WBMC 09 Credentialed Members of Press and Media Outlets: If you are a credentialed member of a recognized print, television, or radio media then you are requested to fill out the media credential registration form found at the ACVB website media page. There is no fee for this registration. Staged Photographer: If you are an amateur or professional still photographer and wish to have a photo booth with lights and backdrop set up, you will be asked to complete the ACVB website media form as well. You will be entitled to a 10’ X 10’ space to set up your equipment and electricity will be available. You may have your booth set up for both the Friday Kick Off Party and the Saturday World Championship event. There is a $250 USD fee to have a photographic booth. Documentary Film Makers: If you are interested in filming material to make a documentary on the event, then you will need to complete the credential form on the ACVB website in order to register yourself or your company. Prior experience is not a requirement, but a professional proposal is requested. You will be allowed full access, within reason, to all of the events during the 5 days of the Championships. The fee for this registration will be $20 USD per crewmember. This is the ticket price for admission. Freelance Photographers: If you are a freelance photographer with no formal credentials, but are planning on taking photographs for sale and profit, then you will be asked to register at the ACVB website media page. You will be allowed special access to the events and contests as appropriate. There will be a $25 fee for this registration. General Public Photographic Guidelines: Still cameras and movie cameras will be allowed for use by the general public at all of the events. Spectators will not have special access to the stage or the contestants themselves. While we can not monitor this, the organizers ask that if you do plan to sell your photos in order to make a profit, that you do register on the ACVB website media page, as a freelance photographer. **For all registered media, the ACVB will host a media hospitality room and have a media liaison available to assist you and answer your questions.** All photos, audio, and video taken become the sole property of the photographer/ videographer, however, the organizers reserve the right to use the photos or footage for promotional or other purposes. Full credit will be given for any use by the organizers.
